Interior Designer Receiving Services we offer:
Receiving & Processing
We navigate the complexities of home furnishings logistics with ease, from beds delivered in multiple boxes, to lamps with separately shipped shades and bases, to chairs that vary from disassembled to bundled in pairs. Our deep understanding of these nuances ensures each item is expertly received and meticulously processed.
Inspection & Repairs
We recognize that every detail matters. Our on-site furniture medics have 30 years of experience with high-end home furnishings. Chips, scratches, or any signs of wear can significantly impact the perception of your work. Regular inspections are vital to ensure that each piece meets your exacting standards.
We offer skilled touch-ups and repairs using available kits, markers, and hinge adjustments to address minor imperfections. Identifying and rectifying these issues before delivery not only preserves the integrity of your design but also prevents the disappointment of clients encountering damaged items. This proactive approach can save you weeks of delays and the hassle of rectifying damage post-delivery, ensuring a seamless and satisfying experience for you and your clients.
Crating & Packing
We excel in creating tailor-made packaging solutions to ensure your products are transported securely. Our techniques go beyond the strict standards set by both national and ocean freight carriers.
Our packing and crating services include:
- Custom-made cartons designed for your specific product
- High-integrity packing materials used
- Foam wrap
- Edge and corner pads
- Styrofoam slabs
- Suspension systems for fragile appendages
- Peanuts and other pack-in-place products
- Solid wood crating or framing
- Chandelier suspension
- Blanket-wrap
- Palletizing
- A-frame pallets for large mirror, glass, and stone
- On-site packing and crating
Inventory Management
We understand that you may want shipments shipped in phases or combined for one large install. We are able to manage your shipments to meet any of your client needs.
White Glove Shipping & Management
The most important piece of the interior design process is the on-time delivery and careful placement in your room of choice. Our installers are able to read floor plans and work with you to complete that last finishing touch. We, however, do not offer electrical or hanging (TV, Art) services. We are able to provide white glove installation for any interior design projects located on the East Coast of the United States.
